3 Good Questions to Ask the Interviewer
- On June 4, 2017
As interview season is winding down, here is your last chance to ask these good questions in an interview (as compiled by Fast Company):
- What do you like most about working here? This question keeps the focus positive, lets the interviewer talk more about him or herself, and gives you more info about the company.
- How has your role changed since you have joined the company? You can learn about the company’s trajectory and how people advance without coming across as opportunistic.
- How does the company (or clients or managers) define success? You’ll get the big picture and the company’s metrics for achievement.
While the article suggests asking other questions like how is diversity and what would you change if you could, I do not recommend asking anything pointed. Instead, given the limited time you have, try positive questions that show your interest and understanding of the company. You can always ask tough questions when you have offer in hand.
